@downtownjoshbrown it seems that AI can help people be much more productive, but not quite replace them. So everyone is assuming that when only 1/2 of the people are needed, they will not be the ones that are let go.
@downtownjoshbrown I think AI is going to decimate many jobs across all sectors and it’s not going to be pretty, nor will it create more opportunities than jobs it eliminates. The capitalist class better start thinking about defensible territory and/or armed security for protection. Inequality is already at historical highs and just keeps getting worse.
