My cousin Marlin was loving and deserving of love. He called himself male, & that scared people, so he called himself garbage, & took his life around the time of his 25th birthday, after Trump was first elected. We'll never get Marlin back. But we can fight for the lives of all trans youth who live in terror & self-loathing brought on by fearful, ignorant & loud fascists. We can be the voice of love they need to hear, and never, ever stop shouting.
