Dear friends in New York, dont miss Nolan Oswald Dennis show at the Swiss Institute and the first convening of the Black Earth Study Club—a series of transdisciplinary gatherings informed by Dennis’s artistic, scientific, and philosophical ruminations on the material and metaphysical conditions of decolonization.
Overturns is the first solo exhibition in the US by Nolan Oswald Dennis. Dennis traverses the subterrains of what he calls a “black consciousness of space”.

I'm a big fan and we had the chance to have a contribution by Nolan last year in our More-Than-Planet goup show at Awareness in Art in Zurich last year.
To inaugurate the Black Earth Club public program series, theorists Denise Ferreira da Silva and J. Kameron Carter will deliver a pair of lectures that delve into the irruptive, world-unmaking capacities of Blackness, as figured in the unruly grammars of Black poetics.
