I see Democrats like Seth Moulton are already sharpening the knives to blame trans people for the election.

"'I have two little girls, I don’t want them getting run over on a playing field by a male or formerly male athlete,' Moulton told New York Times reporter Reid Epstein. 'But as a Democrat, I’m supposed to be afraid to say that.'"

The fundamental problem with Democrats like Moulton is they believe in the Chuck Schumer Doctrine that they will gain 3 white conservative voters for every poor, working class, or marginalized voter they lose by moving right on the issues.

This was literally just disproven.

But they believe these things because they themselves are conservatives. They are appealing to themselves, not to voters, and certainly not Democratic voters.

And Moulton is just a transphobe anyway.

Nowhere Girl

Look, I'm a reasonable gal, but if Democrats decide to blame trans kids and adults like me for their own fuck-ups then I kinda hope Trump and Republicans reign of terror their asses.

Because you know what? These conservative Democrats are going to crawl up Trump's ass and become indistinguishable from him in an attempt to appease the mythical swing voter who exists only in their mind.

And that means a lot of us are going to die.

So I hope they do, too.

@gwynnion

it would check with chart

i'm so tired of victim blaming

@gwynnion Problem is, it won't be their asses. It'll be ours.

It was pretty clear that the Dems were going to throw trans folk under the bus back in January. They're sure not going to support now.

@gwynnion Yeah, I get that.

I do think this election is the end of the Democratic Party, so there's that bitter consolation. The rich Democratic leaders aren't headed for the gulags, though.

@gwynnion I'm losing count how many friends and family I'm legitimately worried about now.

And I have to have conversations with my 8yo daughter to explain that while she is correct, it might not be a good idea to show people her "Donald Trump is bad" drawing because she might get hurt.

I live in the only blue state that became more blue in this election, and I'm still scared.

I try to be a kind person and a pacifist, but I'm really hoping old age and time do their job quickly and soon.
