Found cat. Grant and Campbell area of #Tucson if anyone is missing a super sweet flamepoint boy? He is chipped but somehow the registration doesn’t lead to an address.
So yeah I don’t think my cat is gonna let him stay tho if the owners don’t show up. Went in to check on him just now and he came out and let me pet him and brush him and drank water for like 3 minutes, so he loved having a person with him!
But then I went back out and Guapo smelled him on my hand and hit me hard with claws out about 5x and proceeded to howl like a banshee and POOP ON THE FLOOR he was so mad I had petted another cat. 
Gonna sleep now with a lot of antibiotic salve on my hand…
@heavyboots Meezer gonna meezer. Last year, the neighbour cat rubbed against my leg in front of Ruckus, who went completely apoplectic. He was too mad to even attack the cat. I’d never seen that before.
@marshdrifter Well at least I cleverly trimmed Guapo’s claws this morning while he was feeling chill, so if he does it again it will be a blunted attack. 
@heavyboots This stuff really worked for me when trying to keep the peace during cat intros. A week in separate rooms, lots of scared hissing, but no fighting. Then I left for a week. They were best friends when I came back. YMMV. https://us.feliway.com/
@skry I passed him onto a friend to hold and they’re going to keep him if his prior owner doesn’t show up, I think. (Their cat of 17 years passed away a couple years ago.)
