Hey, it took me two months now to finalize the #photos I took at a nearby #waterfall.
It was one of the rare times where I dedicated a couple of hours to just one spot. I wrote a bit about that day and made the photos available for prints
I hope you enjoy them!

@hikingdude Those are beautiful, Franz! I like how you showed the falls at different ranges, featuring different aspects of the falls.
@TimKStanton
Thank you Tim
I'm really happy how they turned out and that you like them.
I would have loved to test 2 more perspectives. But for the first I would have had to climb on very slippery rocks and for the other I would have had to go in the pretty cold water.
But still I was surprised how much time I spent there to get those photos.
@hikingdude Yeah, I know what you mean about how long it takes to take these types of photos. I see this process as the "pot of gold" that I discover on a trip, rather than something that slows me down on the way to some arbitrary destination.
I've also been very tempted to venture out where I shouldn't to get another angle/distance. I've probably had more slips and falls from taking photos than from the actual hike! Trying hard to rein myself in during these situations.
@TimKStanton
Haha, life of a photographer can be more dangerous than expected!
"Just one more step, or another one, or ano...WHOA that was close!"
But you're right. I'm just thinking about .. Was it @m4nuel? "Sometimes it's more about the process than the result."
Even if I would have returned without a good photo from that spot, I enjoyed a couple of hours, I trained myself and I learned a lot.
(and I was out and about )
@hikingdude so beautiful.

Thank you Thomas!
I still wonder why we are so attracted by waterfalls.
