@TimKStanton Hey Tim. Thank you! Oh yes it was really cool. My wife didn't really like the fallen trees over the trail but luckily there weren't too many of them.

And oh man, I'm SOOO happy how the photos turned out! Given the light that day, I was *really* not convinced when we walked there.

@hikingdude Yeah, I know that fallen trees make it really tough to hike-- glad you both kept going.

ALL of these pics are "keepers"! So nice! I know what you mean about not knowing if the pics would turn out-- it seems that it is best to keep taking the pics and hope to get surprised when you edit them back home.

Yes exactly! It happens rather often to me that I'm not convinced on location when I'm just checking the little display on the camera.

I'm not sure if the professionals can already anticipate the result or if they also get surprised later as well

@hikingdude I’m guessing that professional photographers are much better at anticipating good results. But, they must still get surprised sometimes, especially since they take so many shots in such little time (sometimes rapid fire).

Oh yes we really had a good time out there. And as you saw yourself, we saw so many different aspects of the mountains just in a couple of hours.

The only challenge was to see and recognise it.
