Should I watch Star Trek: Strange New Worlds?

@ianRobinson I kinda suggest skipping the "Gorn" episodes, since they're just shitty Aliens ripoffs, but the rest of the eps are quite good. Not TOS or LD good, but acceptable and maybe better than TNG.
@mdhughes Ta. It’s to get to the LD crossover episode that I’m thinking of watching it. Plus Jess Bush caught me eye in a clip that YouTube fed me. How shallow am I? 
@ianRobinson On balance I'd say yes, though it does feel very American* in tone, which I suppose is ironic given that it is filmed in Canada.
*I've wondered to myself if that reflects America becoming much more culturally insular since the 1990s series were produced.
@piraat Ta. It’s mainly to get to the Lower Decks crossover episode and know who the SBW characters are. Plus the clips that YouTube has fed me with Jess Bush as Nurse Chapel has also piqued my interest!
@ianRobinson it is the second best nu-trek series. After "The Orville".
