Check this one out: github.com/zyedidia/micro
It has nano/pico like keybindings (as far as I can see, I haven't used nano myself in ages 😅)
And has really nice features for such a lightweight editor: color schemes, syntax highlighting, indentation and commenting out whole blocks, etc…
I can't find any uses for it myself as I have vim installed and configured on all of my machines, but somehow I still like it very much.
Maybe it would be of use to you 🤷

@itsfoss so true. I myself encountered Vim in Ubuntu. It was probably the default editor set in git. When I committed my changes and it opened the default editor, I died immediately. I seriously had to kill it all.
