I follow @pluralistic and read his posts often enough, but I'm thinking of getting one of the books now that I'll have a couple of weeks off, what do people recommend?
I very much liked the idea of unauthorized bread, but I'd like recommendations
Walkaway is exceptional. Blueprints for a better future.
Down and Out in the Magic Kingdom is a wonderful high-concept place to start.
I'll throw a big nod to Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town for being so delightfully strange & different I couldn't put it down.
Cory's work spans from among the best cyberpunk to magical realism to gripping noir to we're-almost-there guides to surviving our now, all with a wicked sense of humour.
(Thanks for the reads @pluralistic )
@NikT @Frikisada @pluralistic Someone Comes to Town was so unique. I really enjoyed it. He writes great fiction. But his non-fiction is superb as well, thought provoking and well researched.
