Somehow I find everything he said agreeable. I don't know what that makes me.
However, I don't agree with the 'Individualistic' and 'Collective' comparisons. Collectivism in Russian history has a different connotation, and the same for Individualism in Western countries. I think we're all aware which one brought prosperity (at least to their own countries) and which one brings ruin.
What I like to think he means by that word is the general Soviet/Russian cultural spirit that was built around caring for all people.
