Okay, here is my honest none redacted opinion on
IT FUCKING SUCKS!

It maybe fast to get a prototype up an running. It might have package manager. It might be "easy" because the frontend and back end is in the same language.
But oh my fucking god the package manager is a mess. The speed of the final product suck, unless you start to fiddle with things you otherwise would have too if you for instance picked or and that is just the start... why anyone is using it I dont get

@looopTools Complaining about JS package management (how original) and then casually name dropping Python which is notoriously atrocious in that department not to mention an order of magnitude slower than JS on average? You can’t be serious.

@lucsky We did measurements of comparable implementation with defaults configured systems with Python JavaScript (NodeJS), Ruby and other languages. Node was always the slowest for us.

I don't particular like the package manager for Python either, which is also why I did not compare the package manager from python with that of node.

@lucsky And I don't have a problem with JavaScript as a language
