In our peer feedback system for my HCI class, one of the people I gave feedback to wrote me an angry comment in reply.
This is how I found out there is a rating system for peer feedback providers.
And that my rating is currently 40%, "Somewhat unhelpful!"
I'm going to have to put more work into my peer feedback. I'm kind of disappointed my rating is so low.
@evan go look at the feedback you’ve found most helpful, then check the ratings of those people who provided that. It could be that you provide a style of feedback that some people don’t like. (I prefer blunt, straight to the point, but young people like the sandwich of criticism between two slices of compliments).
@lprodromo thanks, good idea! Yes, I think that's it. I've been providing feedback the way I do for business documents -- just adding comments for stuff I think they missed.
