The end of an era, Instagram is now focusing primarily on video.

We're still here, and more dedicated than ever to our mission of creating an ethical photo-sharing platform.

Maybe this focus on video would make them finally figure out all the UX issues around sound. Just maybe. But probably not.

@pixelfed yet their logo is a camera like thingy. Not a video recorder thingy.
