In my recent newsletter I mentioned that I'm updating Nuclear Throne to the latest GM version but there were no funny bugs this time around.

Well, good (?) news: in the latest beta, loading a translation turns most names into "ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOUR SOUL"

"ALWAYS BELIEVE IN YOUR SOUL" is the loading screen tip for Golden Frog Pistol and the last key-value pair to appear in the file.

As for how could this happen, that's a good question, but perhaps I'll have to update my localization parser for the first time in 8 years.

Come think of it, some of the more amusing bugs in this game were related to Frog, like the time I added Frog to character select screen in Nuclear Throne Together
