Apparently today is #MusiciansDay? That's cool.

If you'd like an #introduction to my music, here's my most popular song. :)

I tend toward retro-tinged #folkMusic, but my tastes are eclectic, and I hope it shows. Themes of #MentalHealth, #politics, and #spirituality come up often in my songs.

I love connecting with other #queer, #trans, #disabled, and otherwise kind folks here, so please reach out!

Beverly Glenn-Copeland – Beverly Copeland (1970, Canada)

Because we need a bit more Canadian content - and because now (as always) is the perfect time to celebrate and support our brilliant trans artists - our next spotlight is on number 478 on The List, submitted by myself. This is the stunning dark folk/modal jazz debut album from Glenn Copeland (recording under the name Beverly Glenn-Copeland), who enjoyed a late but much deserved spotlight a few years ago when his 1986 new age/early techno electronic album Keyboard Fantasies fell into the hands of a record collector and shop owner in Japan.

Happy listening.

Gooooood morning fediverse! It's studio day one!

I slept reasonably well considering how nervous I was packing my gear last night.

Last go 'round with the session musicians yesterday evening left all parties feeling ready.

The best part, though, was some besties in the choir hearing a couple of folk songs for the first time while reading the lyrics, seeing a genuine "wow" face is carrying me far.

Chuck the musicians some cash -
