testasi RS-28 Sarmat ballistista ohjusta huonolla menestyksellä. Ohjus räjähti testin aikana siiloonsa. Se tuhosi itse testauspaikan jättäen jälkeensä valtavan kraatterin.
Tämä on neljäs epäonnistunut Sarmat-koe. Analyytikkojen mukaan viimeinen onnistunut Sarmat-testi on tehty 20.5.2022. Samassa yhteydessä ohjus räjähti suoraan siilossa lähellä Plesetskin avaruuskeskusta.

Ukraina iski massiivisesti Rostovin oblastin Taganrogeen. Alueelle lennätettiin yli tunnin ajan useita kymmeniä drooneja. Kaksi lentokenttää joutui muokaroiduksi ja lisäksi tehdas, jossa korjataan isoja ja pienempiäkin sotilaslentokoneita oli kohteena.
