Actually @mmasnick could have summed up Andresen's point of view way more simple and accurate:
"Privatize the earnings and socialize the losses."
That's what Andresen and his kind, the list is way to long to mention them All-In, support and advocate for. And that's why they are able to promote, "be fast and break things", as what they break is part of the commons and what they get out of it becomes their own.
