Needing some advice on this.

I'm going to a very large conference in September and I'm planning to create a lapel pin that is a QR Code attached to my backpack.

The idea is to give other introverts a way to check me out and know that I'm open to talk (especially in smaller groups) and were nerdy enough to scan the qr code. :blobcat:

It would link to this site. Any thoughts or suggestions? I've never done anything like this!

@box464 I like the idea! I find it always weird to walk towards people and trying to read the name/company/profession on that small piece of paper at the end of the lanyard or the thingy pinned to their shirt (without attracting attention). Especially with my eyes getting older. But I’m usually curious and the QR Code would give me even more information helping me to decide if I want a chat. I’d say „Go for it“!

@box464 neat idea. maybe try to use a clean QR code generator. this might be one from @johnallsopp - deshittify.us/qr-coder/index.h. would need to find a way to indicate that the code is sanitary.

deshittify.usQR Code Generator

@noiseburner @box464 thanks! My tiny little QR code generator doesn't track anything in anyway–simply created a code for the text (inc URLs) you put in. And free. And no ads.

Seriously it took an hour (built on a credited OS library)
