How does this work? I've been waking up minutes before my 6 am alarm no matter when I sleep.
Yesterday, I decided to wake up an hour earlier when going to sleep, did not set alarm, and yet, am up at 5.
Now that the sky has brightened up a bit - it's all grey and misty - while weather predictions insist it's gonna be sunny for a few hours, soon.
10:45 am. 9 of 18 tasks for today done. Coffee anyone?
My cows are spoiled - they will only drink water in the morning if it is warm.
They also are my zen teachers... ensuring every morning I chop wood and carry water.
3 pm, a nice hot bowl of Hakka noodles for lunch. I'm enjoying experimenting with these.
Kept the big task for last since it's easier to get it done when I've built up momentum from smaller ones. Also, once I've hauled 40-50 kilos of cow shit from the shed and washed the floor, I don't want to do much else for a while.
Getting better at cleaning the cow shed. What took me two hours on the first day, on par with what my staff took to get the same job done - today, merely a fortnight later, I wrapped it up in 35 minutes. Not even tired - was exhausted when I began.
Pick the right tools, experiment with technique and trust practice.
I never liked the sound of "this is how we do things here", but now don't think I'll be able to accept those words being uttered in my presence after this.
I would not have guessed it would be hauling cow shit that puts me on the path to radicalization against half-assery (pointing at myself, before anyone else).
Wonder where this path leads though.
All tasks for the day were completed on schedule, with some energy left to spare. I'm liking this phase of life, too long I was convinced that I had become good for nothing, unable to recover from burnout.
Now to treat myself to some entertainment or programming. Let's see which wins.
