For many years I used ReiserFS as my primary fs... I loved the performance, the lack of a mandatory directory, 64bit address space, and the journal. I used it for everything but my /boot partition. And then I heard about Reiser killing his wife, since then I use XFS, ZFS, GlusterFS and ext4, but I still miss ReiserFS
