Since the registration on wordpress.opg seems to take a little while, I'll ask you directly, @pfefferle
My work is coming to the fediverse via the activitypub wordpress plugin (yay!), but we have a small cosmetic problem: we have a pinned post we use for displaying a gallery plugin, and I'd like not to have that on our profile. But we still use the old wp editor, so I can't find the visibilty-settings of the plugin. Is there a way to do this "manualy" (via custom fields perhaps?) Thanks!
@jollysea no problem, you can ask wherever you want :)
so you have a post you want to pint to your blogs homepage but not to mastodon (the fediverse)?!?
@pfefferle exactly. Or just not show that post to the fediverse at all.
@jollysea I think you found a bug!
the featured posts do not care about the visibility feature yet!!!
I will fix that with the next version and then you can simply add the post-meta by hand to hide the post!
@pfefferle Oh, that's nice! But my problem is still another.
I can't access the settings on the work wordpress (and I think it's because we use the classic editor)
my personal blog (first picture) shows it, but in the work-wordpress (second picture) there is no menu showing it and no option to activate the menu.
@jollysea you can add the meta by hand or by using the wp-cli!
the settings sidebar only simply adds a post-meta!
