I have always though this birthright citizenship was a red herring. They knew it wasn’t constitutional and didn’t care. It was just so we’d not focus on the far worse stuff they are doing like the DEIA move yesterday. It’s astonishing we’re not talking more about that.
@shoq Birth right citizenship is an extremely important development. It sets the stage for tiered cclitizenship. The first step in limiting the rights of everyone. It's also the first direct challenge to the constitution that will test their control over the courts. If they take this to the supreme court and win it basically invalidates the constitution. Maybe you've got the wrong smoke screen.
