is there any openapi spec for the mastodon api (from mastodon or mastodon's code)

@helene no and i'm not sure how openapi would allow for a variable domain, so wouldn't that effectively be a different spec file for each instance?

would mostly be extremely useful for documentation and trying things out, GtS has it too

@helene yeah that's what i meant, you would have to dynamically generate it and host it for each domain, right? so it'd be like an api endpoint in itself

@helene it's not the kind of thing you can write manually by hand like most other openapi spec docs, is what i meant

@trwnh it's autogenerated and i think it's just there because why not, have it for free and you can use it with swagger
