Just nearly started a fight in the coffee shop accidentally whilst trying to be friendly and share a fact and the woman serving me thought I was being an arsehole. I then immediately spotted a common mistake in someone’s post and have had enough of being that arsehole for one day so I’ll not tell them the exciting fact about why it’s wrong
@BethanyBlack I hate it when that happens.
I'll take "Tell me you're neurodivergent without telling me you're neurodivergent" for $100...
( /me waves hi in solidarity)
@StevenSaus *taps side of head* this baby holds so much ‘tism
@BethanyBlack @StevenSaus But did you start your explanation with the words "Fun fact: ..." ?
My son has done this for years. His classmates are very used to his "fun facts", and know to brace themselves
Fun fact: they're usually quite gruesome and not at all fun
@GinevraCat no, I got bullied out of doing that at school
@StevenSaus @BethanyBlack
Occasionally I have responded to the hate by saying "I thought we were doing the Sharing-Fun-Facts game, no-one told me what we were actually doing". Which sometimes results in more hate.
