Ha! I just don’t understand how they think this is helpful? I mean, how to guarantee the loss of whatever support they might’ve had from women, POC, Gay people (as opposed to trans whom they never really pretended to like)… now wonder the polls are starting to turn.
@Susan60 Think of the time and money they are wasting on this. It's mind boggling. And what pathetic little White boys to have been so upset to see folk who weren't White men on these pages that this is their first agenda. Again, just mind boggling. It speaks to a very snowflakey military and they are making fools out of themselves and said military.
I’m guessing that there will be a lot of people working for the US government who are starting to suffer significant levels of moral injury. Even low level workers who don’t have anything to do with carrying out policy changes, will be starting to squirm. They might think that they can’t afford to walk away from their job, that they are already vulnerable & as unemployment worsens, that won’t improve. But at the same time, they will be starting to feel guilty about being employed by a government which is clearly fascist.
There are basically 2 ways to deal with that. Leave, or allow the guilt to form a hard shell of resentment, that they then project onto the wrong people.
@Susan60 People need incomes, so just quitting isn't easy. Many job markets are struggling these days. Hopefully they will use their paid vacations to upgrade skills so they have more flexibility in jobs.
