My day job is in SEO; discussion of any non-Google search engines is entirely absent because they bring in exactly zero traffic.

@SKleefeld I wonder if it's because most users who actively choose a search engine, and consequently deprecate Google, also don't see ads because their search engine doesn't show ads natively and probably use an ad-blocker so don't see them in linked sites either.
Hard to get ad clicks if there are no ads.
My browser also has an add-on to strip refers.
But yes I know we are a minority.
