Simply sitting around and expecting Americans to vote for responsible kings until the end of time is not a rational plan. Biden needed to take action to make himself NOT A KING. That would have required him to do horrifying things, and he's not the man to have met that challenge.

We also need to recognize that to date, there is no personal financial incentive for Democrats in Congress to BE the opposition. They’ll keep doing what they’re doing, as long as the cash continues flowing into their pockets.
The only exceptions are people like Bernie Sanders and AOC, who don’t take corporate payouts. And that group is a truly minimal slice of the Congress pie.

Everyone seems to be jockeying for the Presidency rather than changing from within. If people like Pete Buttigieg are willing to sit out, who's stepping up? The squad can't go it alone.
