Do I know anybody hereabouts that have any experience with #Friendica?
@jupiter_rowland thx! I'm trying to figure out if i can help some people to move their communications from FB to something a bit less....evil.
they are looking to have multiple groups with different moderation rules.
i know i can spin up a basic forum, but I like the idea of being able to use one login for different things. i was thinking about self hosting an instance, but I'm not sure.
@gispyskov I made a user there just last week. I used to like Facebook, and Friendica seems to have many of the same functions, plus some more. And I love that it talks with *every* other fediverse-platform. And it works with RSS feeds, so now I got my own little news/blog updates hub!
But: the user interface is a bit complex for a tech newbie as me. But I am making progress!
@Ivarv93 thanks for the info. I'll dig a bit deeper

@eshep thanks. I wasn't aware of these, but I'll definitely have a look
@eshep ah... cool! I'll do a bit of research on them
@gispyskov yes (but our Friendica server is currently being moved, so reply from Mastodon)
