@angusm @molly0xfff or the free content shouldn't be named free since you pay with you contact data. Probably to go into someone's funnel to hopefully make you buy stuff later. And that doesn't work with spam email boxes, so they want your business email since everyone uses free email providers just to get the free content and never or want to be in a funnel.
I understand both business owner as well as the customer.
