@dansup What about @pixelfed ? Will it get no more love because @loops is the great new thing now? I’d love to use @pixelfed but I can’t, because of its shortcomings.

@spitfire @dansup @pixelfed @loops Would be nice if the pixelfed android app was more accessible, given it says unavailable on the PS, and nowhere to download the apk..🤷🏻‍♂️

@fisco1791 @dansup @pixelfed @loops Would be nice if the Pixelfed iOS app would error out (or better yet - handle whatever issue it has) when I’m trying to upload a picture through it instead of silently failing.

Seems a better option is to try a different app, Pixeldroid is good, there's surely an iOS alternative, as there seem to have been no focus on polishing the proprietary one..🤷🏻‍♂️

@fisco1791 @spitfire @dansup @pixelfed @loops Pixelfed and Loops are in beta. Be that as it may. There are three ways to use Pixelfed on Android. The Pixelfed App (Available on Google Play, F-Droid and GitHub): github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed-r & github.com/pixelfed/pixelfed-r (GitHub is still missing version 1.0.0.70, which fixes a visual error). 2. You use a third-party app, such as PixelDroid or Pixelix (Paid) 3. You install Pixelfed as an app via the browser

Was unable to find the release, I've been using Moshidon, which work well, but obviously has limitations...
Will most likely wait for a later release and give it another go, thanks 👍🏻
