He's right, but it's ironic coming from a guy who has led Intel into the dirt, and is just as guilty of anti-R&D funding behaviors like wasting budgets on endless stock buybacks and supporting Trump, who has helped burn the academic talent pool now and into the future, that could help fuel said R&D.
