and stiffness, and are being such buggers lately. Finally used my icepack and massager (Canadian btw). Even risked the Thumper right where the lower back’s worst knot was tipping me off-balance, making middle back tighten up and all causing and exhaustion of lopsidedness. The knot is still intense, but has lessened its effects on everything else and I can, briefly, be more upright. Might worsen as I walk to the bus etc tomorrow for the .

Had a late night again and went to lie down after breakfast. Got up and my right side is doing what it did last week. Lower and middle back pretty tight, can’t stand upright so having a hobble. The tight shoulders of the last weeks are better, though. Roundabouts and swings.

Scheduled for a #RadioFrequencyAblation for the #LumbarSpine on Tues. This is a treatment for #BackPain which I have found quite effective for medication-free pain management, because the meds are dangerous for my heart.

The treatments aren't successful for everyone. In fact, before the first time, they have to do a test. But that was long ago now fo rme.

The nerves normally grow back, but my insurance allow the treatments to be repeated every 12 months (6 or 7 if you make a fuss). This will be my 4th time.

They only treat one side at a time. So I have to go twice usually several weeks apart because of healing time, follow-up visit and insurance approval.

My insurance does not like paying for this which really adds to the stress of the pain when they issue a denial-of-coverage. Out of pocket could $700 per treatment (ie per side). But my pain doctor is quite good at proving to the insurance that it's in fact absolutely necessary. So they pay even though they're unhappy about it.

The treatment only takes about 15-20 minutes, is done with local anesthetics and with xray guidance, to identify the exact nerve to zap.

The drawback is that I cannot take pain medicine for 5 days prior (bleeding risk), so it can be hard to function for those days if I have a lot of heavy work to do.

Winter chill can make neck and shoulder tension even worse! But don’t worry—we’ve got the best warm-up techniques, stretches, and massage tips to help you stay pain-free.

Ok so treatment has begun here at @theauragens@twitter.com. First day I’m getting stem cells via IV, these cells are from an umbilical chord, so basically Day One cells that haven’t been programmed yet, is how it was explained to me and the wild thing is the cells know where to go in your body to attack inflammation and injuries. Wifey getting stem cell facials and IVs for anti-aging.

I am also having exosomes in a nebulizer for brain health. GOD knows I need all the help I can get with that.

During this trip I will have a tuneup in my left shoulder, which needs a MAJOR surgery and I treated with stem cells right before season for pain management to get me through season until i have time for surgery this offseason

Also I’m doing a veryyy cutting edge procedure this time where i will go under anesthesia and they will inject stem cells directly into my discs. I’ve have multiple, multiple, multiple ruptures and herniations over the years from training NFL players and fighters in MMA. Couple years ago was supposed to get either a three-level fusion or a rod inserted into my back. That would have changed my life forever and something I’m not prepared for.

But right before my scheduled fusion, I threw up a Hail Mary, came down here for stem cell treatment, got the cells and i couldn’t believe it but shortly after treatment I was actually pain-free! I couldn’t believe it. I went to NFL training camp shortly after and people around the league actually noticed a difference in how i was standing and moving and not constantly trying to stretch and do things I used to do for pain relief.

Shortly after I actually CANCELLED my surgery!!! My MRI is still completely disgusting so may need a surgery in future but I’ve bought 2 years without a surgery as a result of these stem cells and hoping this procedure I’m doing down here this time gives me many many more years. I’m hopeful. Hope is a great thing to have.

Will keep ya updated how it’s going. If you want info on this DM @PercyKnoxJr1@twitter.com not me! lol. He knows more about it than I do!

Btw going from here and beauty of Panama right to #nflcombine where it starts up allll over again. NFL never ends

After two years of not being able to do anything in my #workshop due to #backpain, and a subsequent spine operation last year, I spent all day today moving tools around with the help of my wife and my mother-in-law. We managed to get the workshop back into an almost-usable condition, ready for me to start #woodworking again 😊 Just a few more things left for me to sort out, and a tool chest to give to my brother, then I'll have so much more space to work in!
