I'm going to see Kelsea Ballerini in concert in April! It's in Buffalo. I'm pretty excited. We are sitting basically at the very back, but I'll be happy just to be there. I'm going to be buying hearing protection for Lucy, who will be accompanying me.

I am worried about how much I will have to walk, due to my fibromyalgia and chronic pain stuff. I'm hoping the handicapped/accessible parking isn't all taken by the time we get there. I'll just have to see how things go. #Fibromyalgia #ChronicPain

Chronic pain can be really hard to describe. I know - been there. The pain seems to come from a spot or a region or, well, I'm not sure. Pinpointing it can be hard. Figuring out the cause can seem impossible. So the analogy of a defective fire alarm resonates. The #brain is saying "Hey, ouch! Do something!" but the body has no clue what's going on. False alarm? Not exactly. Argh! medium.com/wise-well/chronic-p?sk=8e0ee5ac5748e291ae9ed2869549058d #health #chronicpain #neuroscience

Taking a break from #AssassinsCreedShadows today.

Having to remind myself that my health comes first, that my games will be there after I rest, even if it's a new game I've been eagerly waiting to play.

My hands are in absolute agony today. I've been overdoing it recently (my villagers in Animal Crossing have never been so lucky, seeing me every day for almost 2 weeks now), and I think adding another game on top of it all (plus normal everyday usage of my body) has tipped me over the edge.

Going to rest with my hand in an ice pack and watch some stuff.

I am stronger than chronic pain

Sciatica can suck it, time to get the blood flowing and release the pressure on that nerve

Too many years of my life spent being afraid of moving in certain ways to avoid triggering insane pain

Too much time wasted being mad at my body for being in pain instead of helping to relieve it
