In our article with Ryan T. Cragun (in Finnish), we look at the encounter between a gardener and a Spanish Slug. We highlight the role of exclusion in the constellation of the garden community. At the same time, we critically reflect on the limits of the study of religion. We show how the exclusion of religion and nonreligion enables to view the common ground shared by people with different beliefs on an equal footing.
