From a few nights ago, picked up a visiting friend from bus stand, in town, rode through crazy fog where even 10 meters visibility felt like a relief!
Took 2:30 hrs to reach my farm instead of usual 1:15 hrs.
Loved it thoroughly and regretted not carrying my action camera because I had not processed last ride's videos by the time I left.
Finally after many missed opportunities, got a wild buffalo (Indian Gaur) on camera, while riding!
What a clear, sunny day!
Temperature is headed towards single digit Celsius just as the light fades! Gut feel says it's gonna get pretty cold tonight.
Outdoor temp at 6°C as of 5am, what we call winter is finally here :-P It should stay cold until end of Jan or maybe a bit longer.
We're at 89mm rain in last 12 hours since midnight, 10mm to break yesterday's record :-P
It's been without much of a break so the weather station is counting one and half days as one rain event.
It's finally starting to feel like winter might be approaching - night temps almost touching 10°C, but monsoon isn't done yet - still at 90+% humidity through most of the day.
Since I'm hearing their calls all evening, here's an archive photo of a peafowl looking majestic.
Ah, there's a 3-4 hour window where the rains might reduce a bit - allowing me to visit town and grab some groceries.
The last km or dirt road is washed out, can't take car so motorcycle it is :D
The window has already opened - run!
