#Fog remains #dense across the #Northland Sunday night and Monday morning. With #temperatures in the upper 20s and low 30s for lows, #freezing #drizzle is likely and create #slick spots on roadways.

Some #sunshine will break through the #clouds Monday as fog slowly dissipates with light #winds. Highs will reach the lower half of the 30s.

It's another #mild #winter #weather day with some breaks in the #clouds.

#Fog remains a big issue, and will remain #dense in spots through Monday morning. Be cautious driving, especially where #slick road conditions form.

The satellite and radar over the Northland just after 2 p.m. on Sunday, December 29, 2024, shows most areas under cloud cover, with some possible drizzle falling from the low-level clouds. Some breaks in the cloud cover are being observed in northwest Wisconsin and the Arrowhead regions.

Temperatures in the Northland around 2 p.m. on December 29, 2024, range from 32 to 41 degrees.

Areas in the Northland were visibility is reduced as of around 2 p.m. on December 29, 2024, include the I-35 corridor, parts of the Twin Ports, and northwest Wisconsin. Some spots such as Aitkin and Siren are below one-mile of visibility.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect for nearly all of the Northland, minus the Upper Peninsula, through noon of Monday, December 30, 2024. Visibility will be below one-quarter of a mile at times throughout the region.

Some spots could have #dense #fog with #visibility below one mile. Also, some #freezing #drizzle will lead to #slick spots on roadways.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in effect from midnight to noon Tuesday, December 24, 2024, for Aitkin, Carlton, northern Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, northern Lake, and St. Louis counties.

Visibility will be impacted across the Northland the rest of Monday night and Tuesday morning wherever patchy fog forms. Some spots on the Minnesota side could have visibility below one mile. The fog will likely have freezing drizzle as well, which could create slicks spots on roadways.
