For today's VOD we're back playing some more Monster Hunter, but not before we start of with a bit of Factorio. We'll see more of these sort of streams come back for a while as we play more multiplayer games, as scheduling with others was a big factor in deciding what to stream on a given day.

And we've officially started VODs for 2020! Man it still baffles me how it can both feel like yesterday and at the same time forever ago that we played Monster Hunter World. I remember playing the original on our family PS2 decades ago using PlayStation Online to hunt Lao Shan Lung, to playing MHFU with my brother on our PSPs. The series has come a long way from the days of superman poses and room-based boss fights.
Happy Friday! Today we have the second VOD for our #Kingdom playthroughs. All in all, I prefer Two Crowns, especially after returning to it years later. I wish there was more of an open sandbox version, but I'm assuming you'd just never leave the island, especially once you close the small portals.
Maybe I just like colony builders...
Fast forward a few months, and here we are around Christmas of 2019, trying out a game I had at this point only heard of, called #Kingdom, which is a 2D side-scrolling tower defense game. These were quite fun, actually! I've even picked them back up here and there on my #SteamDeck recently, they're such gorgeous games!
Alright, back on track. Apparently those last two were a bit out of order. No matter, we're back in #StardewValley one more time. Sadly there's a chunk of VODs from here until Christmas of 2019 that I seem to be missing, the next one up will be jumping over to a few new games before returning to some cozy #ModdedMinecraft with a familiar face...
We're back working on the farm again today, maybe someday we'll clean up the plot, today is not that day... More #StardewValley for today's VOD!
Phew, after all this intense Boomy Shooty action, why not wind down a bit, plant some crops, and make friends with our new neighbors? That's right, next up on our VODs journey is a quick diversion into #StardewValley!
This is it, the final showdown in our #IonFury playthrough. This was a fun romp, it's crazy now to see the explosion of GZDoom games that have come out in recent years, and to know that even the company #3DRealms themselves were able to make something fun and nostalgic as this.
Which reminds me, I really should get around to playing #Selaco, #Hrot, #Dusk, #AmidEvil, #Prodeus, and all the other modern Boomer Shooters...
We're back in the dystopian future of #IonFury for today's VOD, and as frustrating as this game got I still remember it positively. We are, however, approaching the end of this playthrough which means we're also approaching the point where I ran into a bevy of A/V issues during the livestreams. Luckily outside of a few rare occasions this should be one of the last series with such issues, especially given the low bitrate I was locked into before I became affiliated.
Well now, today's the first VOD we'll come across with two games in one, we started off with more #IonFury but switched over to #MonsterHunterWorld about 2 hours in for a change of pace.
Today we're diving back into a #BoomerShooter, but not the one you're thinking of. No instead for today's VOD we had just gotten our copy of the then newly released #BuildEngine game, #IonFury. This was such a fun return to form for #3DRealms, and aside from the quality issues on our end throughout the playthrough, the whole thing went rather smoothly.
Oh! And this marks the first VOD that used some form of branding/overlay, so welcome to the second era of our saga, the Glitch Era...
And today we have one final visit to the #OCW #Minecraft #BedrockEdition server before we officially drifted apart. Hope you enjoyed the underwater base building, because we're on to "bigger" and "better" things...

Oh hey, look at that, we're finally at some new content! First up, the first of a few casual #Minecraft streams hanging out with the folks here on OCW. Since we had people from all over playing from all sorts of devices, we started up a fresh world on #BedrockEdition, so that was an interesting experience. Still way prefer the #JavaEdition over this any day, but I was glad to actually be able to hang out with folks

Phew! That was a lot of #DoomII + #DoomRPG + #DRLA VODs... This is the final part of the original run. There's one more Mapset that this playthrough went through but that won't be for a bit. After this we've got some casual #Minecraft, the playthrough of #IonFury, some #StardewValley, and finally some rounds of #Kingdom before we get to that.
This was a wild playthrough, and I've honestly been itching to return to the mods now that they've been getting some updates and rebalancing and better support. It's a close second to #HideousDestructor as my favorite mod setups for Classic Doom.
