The monastery stood at the place that’s nowadays known as ‘Kloosterstraat’. It held ground from 1926 and was demolished in 1968 due to construction of highway A10 (better known as ‘Ring A10’).





The statue (from an unknown artist) was placed above the entrance of the monastery on May 5, 1946, because Duivendrecht was spared during the war.
