The highland cows have returned to the reserve,. Beautiful beasts.

The Great Crested Grebe decided to have one last check of its original fishing spot before it moved away.

Enjoyed a walk around my local reserve with fellow Friend of the Birds nature photographer @stubacon on Monday. Had some great weather, if a little short on birds.

It wasn’t happy with its first fishing spot so tried a bit further out into the broad.

After the Mallard there was a Great Crested Grebe hunting near the jetty. It was tricky to track where it was going to pop up after each dive.

We were at NWT Ranworth Broad on Sunday. Kicking off a series of photos are this pair of Mallard.
