I've been thinking recently.

In commercial software development, there's a widespread belief that a junior developer is a money sink to the company. As in, their "cost" is bigger than the "value".

I wonder how true it is.

Because, if you think about it, estimating a "value" of a single team member is nigh impossible. Even if you can estimate a dollar value of a feature/bugfix/epic, how do you spread it between PMs, devs, QA, etc?
