@Gargron @Natureshadow@floss.social it’s gone. I loved it, cause it also worked in Berlin. The system in London is just great, but it only works for single travelers, not for whole families (especially for those without UK credit cards).
@Gargron @Natureshadow Probably a combination of:
1. German bureaucracy (just signing up by using your credit card doesn't work)
2. Germans and their fear of using a credit card
3. Fare zones, daily/weekly tickets, country tickets, subscriptions, pre-book discounts, full moon tickets,.... all that stuff that people normally use to NOT pay for the normal overpriced tickets. I guess "tap&ride" didn't run a full mathematical optimizer to automate that.
