What exactly does this mean? What about the role of #FreeSoftware?
@fsfe and open standards - I think they are focussing more on transparency and openness and not so much the cost of the product. So more open software than free software.
There is also free and freedoms in software, and they are not the same thing...

... is irrelevant. Why bring that up? I think it's pretty clear from the context (eg the organization making the post) that they're talking about Free Software, ie freedoms, not price.
