Say NO to broken browsers! ⛔

The EU is preparing a very dangerous law that would undermine the security of every browser.

Speak up now! 🗣️

@Jeremiah has more on how you can help to protect the web! 💪

@Tutanota @Jeremiah seems #EU legislature is copying the laws of nice places like #iran and #russia resently. Breaking the trust model of browsers on top of #YlvaJohansson mandated ai driven #masssurveillance bugs on all citizens private smartphones.. this #EU project is suddenly going downhill quick.

@Tutanota @Jeremiah Already sent it in Spanish to all my PMs.
Some of them are good, most of them are trash, we'll see how it goes... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Tutanota@mastodon.social @Jeremiah@alpaca.gold
Thanks Jeremiah for providing a copypaste we can send, I read through it too but I wouldn't be able to put a text together myself that looks professional.
I must speak up about something I'm deeply concerned about however.
That bright page with very thin font.
Bruh.
I struggled.

@raccoon @Tutanota I don’t understand.

The CSS on my website specifies `ui-sans-serif`, so the font is the default sans-serif font you/your OS/your browser have chosen.

As for black text on a white background, it is the most accessible option. Half of people have some form of astigmatism and "dark mode" causes halation, which reduces legibility. I might add a dark mode option one day, but you can use the reader mode today in your browser on sites when the typography is not to your preference.

@Jeremiah@alpaca.gold @Tutanota@mastodon.social
Don't worry Jeremiah I was just goofing. I do that a lot. But the content of the page was good and helpful.
It's odd though, I have astigmatism but without dark mode I find websites blinding.

@Tutanota Hi, Tutanota is now Tuta, but the (Android) app is still called Tutanota. Stays it this way or will the be renamed in the future?
