The main #tech #project I've been working on for the past couple months has been to #degoogle. Google's proven track record on #privacy was just one reason.
It's been an interesting learning experience. Besides #decentralization, this has forced me to genuinely re-evaluate my tech needs. The biggest challenges have been #gmail.
I have 20 years worth of mail and Google has made it challenging, at best, to migrate to the new provider. Ugh!
@peteorrall I have got the same issues with #Gmail by now I began using @Tutanota and have a 15gb mbox backup from gmail 
@imigueldiaz What issues are you running into? According to Google docs, their new mail migration tool supports both Google Workspace accounts and personal accounts, yet this is not the case - only Workspace accounts are supported.
I'm trying to move to mailbox.org. Their contracted service, Audriga, supports GMail but my password is not being recognized? This is not what I need on a Sunday!
@peteorrall i downloaded the mbox using google takeout with no problem and tuta should be able ti import it but I need to upgrade tuta plan, I'm more concerned with the sites I use #google #a2f to access an migrate all the #otp stuff to my #bitwarden
