A very common joystick back in the days. It used quite durable microswitches, so one could easily compete in the Wintergames skating competition.

@stiefkind QuickshotX by SVI, the one featuring a hardly working autofire?

@stiefkind Wintergames was little work for joysticks, Decathlon was the killer.

@stiefkind thinking have a couple of these kicking about somewhere!

@stiefkind Lovely! I've got one of those that I used with my Atari 400 as a kid. Quite a decent stick

@48kRAM I had two of them on my C-64. Don’t recall the name though. Was it sonething with Quickshot?

@stiefkind Mine is the "Quickshot II plus" by Spectravideo.

@stiefkind I also have the original one, I guess.

@48kRAM
This is the exact same model I had. I think the "plus" is the autofire switch option as I've seen examples of this stick where there's just a blanking plate in that position.

My family had one of these for our C64. Easily the most durable joystick that we ever got ahold of. It actually kept working for years instead of just months like the other department store junk that preceded it. Joystick replacement costs must have nearly bankrupted my parents before that one came along.
