Pass has been life changing for me. I barely think about it. There is git integration, it encrypts your secrets and it does have browser integration.

I spend too much time without internet and have password locks on too many local services and file-vaults that offline availability of my password store is CRITICAL.
Literally cannot use any internet-required password manager. KeePass and Pass are pretty much the only options that suit my needs. And I am not alone in this, judging by comments on a certain multi-year-old feature request at VaultWarden's GH repo.
