You can comment and react to Stories and they even federate with other Pixelfed instances!

@dansup Yes, they're generally a great feature but so far "suffer"(?) from two issues in my very humble opinion: Compared to IG stories, the ability to add music is missing, this is really something people in my environment have been excessively using. More important, however (from an actual #fediverse perspective) it would be to have some "portable" understanding of what stories are. If I'm, in example, a #friendica or #mastodon user following a pixelfed account (maybe on an instance which by name I don't even recognize as such), I have no way of seeing stories posted to there because they don't seem to be federated to non-pixelfed platforms. That's an annoying limitation to be honest.

@dansup Hi I did ask but are there any plans to support 360 degree pics? Would love it if that was an option moving forward!
@dansup I hate them. The most useless Instagram / Pixelfed feature. If I wanted to use Snapchat, I would be using Snapchat. It's great they can be disabled.
