A little I play with is making little "surrogates" or dummy batteries. They let you debug circuit power issues or design goals, or let you make a battery-powered device into a much longer-lived device by using a larger battery or power supply.

They've been very useful for me, so I share them a bit too.

I've just recently made a sized one which is quite a challenge to fabricate. It's very tiny with tinier routing channels.

I share printable designs of a few, but the threading of the conductor wires is quite challenging for most, so not broadly practical.

Instead I mostly sell them on for a couple of bucks and curse a little bit when anyone orders one.

So far I offer AA, AAA, 18650, CR2450, CR2032 and now CR1632 size too!

Tedious little things, but hey, I make about a dollar an hour when I sell a few, so I've got that going on.
