Hey there. Figured I should make an introduction post of some sort, so here we go.
My name is Claire. You might know me by the handles chapien, chappydev, chapien_byte, chappybte, ClaireByte. But really, just Claire is fine. I'm an asexual transwoman living in the Pacific Northwest. I have kind of bad opsec, but I've been online for so long that I've kind of accepted that my privacy is dead. I am however trying to move away from big social network sites and into self hosting as much as I can.

A few things about me. I have ADHD, OCD, and OCPD (which is different from OCD). My OCPD can make me very argumentative, and I can lash out. I am trying to be better, and I have been improving. That said, I do have a request on how you can make this easier for me. I have a flowchart that I follow when I feel an argument is escalating. If I ask for something to be dropped, please drop it. In the interest of openness, I've attached that flowchart. If you have any questions about OCPD, I'd be happy to answer them!

Ayer terminé de leer "More than enough" de Elizabeth Wambheim (un retelling de "Beauty and the best") y debo decir que me ha gustado MUCHO 
Está narrado en tercera persona desde dos puntos de vista: el de Feir, el príncipe desaparecido, y Petra, un jardinero que se relaciona más con la naturaleza que las propias personas.
Cuando este último decide entrar a la mansión abandonada para recuperar un objeto, lo último que se espera es encontrarse con el príncipe. Y aunque de primeras no lo hace, algo logra llamarle lo suficientemente la atención como para seguir volviendo: una flor anaranjada. Única, y resplandeciente.
Sinceramente, me ha parecido un libro que, a pesar de su corta longitud (230 páginas) y no tener excesivo drama, ha estado MUY bien desarrollado y enfocado. Nunca he sido mucho de la historia de "Beauty and the Beast", especialmente la de Disney, pero, ¿este retelling? no podría pedirle nada más. Y además, con representación asexual absolutamente MARAVILLOSA

@RickiTarr So, #asexual visibility note on this: all ace people are different, and have different connections to sexuality, sensuality, and physicality.
The thing that makes us “true freaks,” in my mind, is how we reject allosexual society’s compulsory participation in sexuality. That’s real freaky to the patriarchy’s prescribed ways of being.
I used to not really get why ace people are in the queer community, like "oh, hey, nobody's trying to take away your right to NOT date someone" but then I heard someone talk about how alienating it is to grow up in a society where it feels like absolutely everybody is a sex-crazed fiend because you don't feel exactly the same emotions that so many human interactions are built on.
"Ah. I get it now."
Now fast forward a few years...
